As we grow older we face certain changes in the condition of our skin, such as age spots, wrinkles, and fine lines. Some of these changes are caused by the natural aging process (intrinsic aging) and we can’t do much about it. We can, however, influence the other type of aging (extrinsic aging), which is caused by our environment and lifestyle.

1. Carrot-egg mask
Recipe:
Take one small carrot and grind it. Beat one egg, add one teaspoon of gritted carrot and mix them together. Gently massaging with your fingers, apply this mask to a clean face and neck. Leave it there for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with cool water. Apply some moisturizer or almond oil.
You can apply this carrot-egg mask every day for 10 days in a row. After that, you should take a break for a week and continue using the mask 2-3 times a week. After only a month, age spots will be gone, and your skin will be more smooth and fresh-looking.
2. Parsley mask
Recipe:
Take one teaspoon of ground-up, fresh parsley leaves and mix it with one teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of oatmeal.
Gently apply the parsley mask to your face and leave it for 20 minutes, then wash it off with cold water. Apply moisturizer. You can apply this mask every other day if your skin is oily or normal. If your skin is dry, apply the parsley mask two times a week.

You should do these exercises every day or at least 4-5 times a week. Do not forget to clean your face and hands first.
- Taking care of the area around the eyes.
Place your index fingers under your brows and your thumbs under your eyes. Look up and lift the eyebrows, holding them against the bone. Then slowly close your eyes and close the upper and the lower lids at the same time. Repeat this exercise several times.
- Smoothing the horizontal wrinkles on the forehead.
The index fingers of both hands should be placed several millimeters higher than the eyebrows. Press the finger pads tight against the skin so that the eyebrows can’t move. Pull the corners of the brows up and toward the temples as you frown. Freeze for five seconds, and then relax. Repeat this exercise three times.
- Eliminating the vertical wrinkles on the forehead.
Press your fingers onto your brows and forehead, and stretch the skin. Try to move your brows as if you are frowning. Freeze in this position for 15-20 seconds. Relax. Repeat the exercise three times.
5. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is an excellent ingredient to use to lighten age spots as it contains alpha hydroxy acids. Apply a little bit of the vinegar to your spots and leave it overnight. You can mix it with oil to avoid dryness.
