Cheers to the happy couple!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have pretty much everything — a picture-perfect relationship, a dream wedding on the horizon, and dope house, etc. But now, they just outdid themselves by having a beer created in their honor.
Windsor & Eton Brewery, which is only a few minutes from St. George’s Chapel where Meghan and Harry will get married, created the beer. It’s called Harry and Meghan’s Windsor Knot (heh, get it? knot?) and it pays homage to the couple’s backgrounds by combining British and American hops.
“We’re using some nice, fruity hops from Yamika in Washington State, and some English hops, which are more subtly flavored,” Windsor & Eton Brewery co-owner Willie Calvert told People. “English hops tend to be more of a grassy, textured flavor, a bit more like hay, whereas New World hops have more sunlight and are more strongly flavored.”
This pub actually created a beer for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011, so they said it made sense to create a new beer for Harry and Meghan’s wedding. They also made beers for both Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s births.
Any excuse for a beer and the Royal Wedding is no exception! @WindsorEtonBrew have released details about a special limited edition wedding ale https://t.co/zcISW8a6nd pic.twitter.com/LO7RCMV05P

The bottle’s label combines the American and British flags with an interlocking set of rings. Harry & Meghan’s Windsor Knot will be available starting March 28 in the Royal Farm store in Windsor and in pubs around London and Windsor. Windsor & Eton brewery is careful to clarify on their website that this will be the *only* royal wedding beer brewed in Windsor.
