Sagging eyelids is a problem that’s a bit more serious than it may seem. It not only makes us look older, but may also lead to eye diseases and eyesight deterioration.
To prevent eye problems caused by sagging eyelids, there are very helpful remedies you can easily use every day at home. Take a look and make sure you don’t miss anything!
Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties that help treat sagging eyelids. After you make yourself a chamomile tea, cool down two teabags and place them on your eyes for 15-20 minutes. If you put the tea bags in the fridge beforehand, you’ll get a very pleasant cooling effect, as well.
2. Egg whites
Egg whites firm and tighten your skin. Make sure the skin of your eyelids is clean and dry, apply a small amount of egg white on them, and wait until it’s dry. Then wash it off with cool water. You’ll be able to see the results immediately.
3. Ice
Ice constricts blood vessels and lessens the sagging of your eyelids. You just need to apply ice cubes to the eyelids and you will see an effect in a very short time.
Grapes contain elements that prevent or slow the cellular aging process. So don’t neglect them and add them to your daily diet to make yourself look younger.
5. Cucumber
It’s a very well-known remedy and it really works. Cucumbers are rich in caffeic acid and ascorbic acid that reduce inflammation and tighten your skin. Just put two chilled cucumber slices over your eyes, relax for 15-20 minutes, remove the slices, and enjoy your fresh and glowing skin.
6. Exercise
Here’s the exercise to strengthen your eyelids. Close your eyes and place your index fingers across each eyelid. Lift your elbows. Count to 5 and on each count gently apply some pressure to your eyelids. When you count to 5, try to open your eyes with some pressure still applied. Repeat it 10 times.
7. Sleep well
If you don’t get enough sleep, you will be stressed and your eyes will be tired. This will increase the sagging. To avoid it you have to go to bed earlier and sleep as many hours as you need to feel fresh and rested.
