Every kid would dream of living in Disneyland, but one little girl actually gets to fall asleep there every night. Well, kind of.

One dad recreated a Disneyland fireworks show above Sleeping Beauty’s castle in his daughter’s bedroom with a toy castle, projector, and a little DIY magic. “My daughter loves the castle and fireworks at Disneyland,” Lyle Coram told GoodHousekeeping.com. “We didn’t have a plan … it just kind of worked out.”

Turns out, winging it really did work out for Coram, who works as a stagehand for shows in Las Vegas. Look how beautiful the finished result is:

My daughter asked for Disney Magic and a castle for her bedroom, she got it! ✨✨Learn more: viraldisney.net/atmosfxProjector kit: http://amzn.to/2CtI7kjPrincess Palace kit: http://amzn.to/2C8vcITCredit: Lyle Coram

“The fireworks are pretty easy to do — it’s a projector and a media player projecting on the ceiling,” Coram explains.

Using an AtmosFX projector, Coram then downloaded a fireworks show from the company’s website and displayed it on the ceiling of his daughter’s bedroom above her toy castle.

To make the scene even more magical, Coram installed RGB LED strips into the crown molding of to create the purple glow, and then embedded about 280 fiber optic “stars” into the ceiling.

According to Coram, the fiber optics were the most difficult part because he had to go into the attic and push each one through the drywall for the starry night effect.

But even if you skip that part, the projector tip alone is enough Disney magic to hold anyone over until they can see Disney fireworks in real life.
