A chimpanzee rescue group in the Democratic Republic of Congo shared video of a rescued baby chimp receiving an adorable flight to his new home.

The Lwiro Primates rescue and rehabilitation center said the baby chimp, Mussa, was rescued from poachers in Virunga National Park.

The rescue shared video of Mussa taking a plane ride on the lap of pilot Anthony Caere.

The video shows Mussa cuddling with Caere and even receiving a grooming session from the pilot while in the air.

The rescue group said Mussa is being treated for intestinal parasites but is adjusting well to his new home.

Every rescue is an effort from a lot of people from different organisations who work together to save lives. It is a beautiful moment to see the result of everybody's implication, in this case we save the life of Mussa. You can also be part of this team effort! You can contribute to Mussa's rehabilitation by donating in our website: www.lwiroprimates.org or directly in the "donate" button on Facebook. Thanks so much! You are a very important part of our team ❤️
