Dairy Queen’s new Valentine’s Day goodies sound delicious.
Valentine’s Day is often linked to rich chocolate treats, but what if your heart is feeling… a bit more of a chill? Well, Dairy Queen has some special news for you.
Dairy Queen has partnered with Ghirardelli to introduce two new Valentine’s Day treats in what is their first-ever partnership with the chocolate giant.
First is a blend of Dairy Queen’s signature vanilla soft serve with chunks of Ghirardelli chocolate and real strawberry to create the new Dipped Strawberry Blizzard.
The other is the new heart-shaped Dipped Strawberry Cupid Cake that is shaped and sized to be shared. It is topped with the same Ghirardelli chocolate and strawberry chunks that are featured in their new Blizzard.
“Ghirardelli and DQ are the quintessential sweet pairing. If you want to treat your yourself, or a loved one, to something extraordinary this Valentine’s Day, you can have your choice of our new Blizzard Treat or perfectly shareable Cupid Cake, or both,” said Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation. “With treats like these, fans can have a decadent Ghirardelli experience paired with world-famous DQ soft serve to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a truly special and memorable way.”
Blizzard Treats are made to order and are offered in four sizes. The DQ Dipped Strawberry Cupid Cake is made to order and priced from $9.99 at participating locations. These new treats are available at participating DQ and DQ Grill & Chill locations nationwide for a limited time right now, so get your sweet tooth ready. We know ours is.
