SkyPixel is one of the biggest drone-lover communities, where both professionals and amateurs are able to share their works with the world. Recently, they held a contest to announce the best aerial pictures of the year 2017 and the winners actually took our breath away.

The competition was open to two main groups of participants: professionals and enthusiasts. The winners were announced in three categories (landscape, portrait, and story), excluding the Grand Prize. That went to Florian Ledoux, a wildlife photographer, who was lucky enough to capture the amazing moment of a Polar bear crossing between two pieces of sea glacier. The winner also raised some serious topics by sharing his work. “I hope we will still be able to see the Arctic wildlife as we do now,” writes Florian below his winning picture. “It is threatened as the environment is changing. I was able to witness many scenes of wildlife and I can guarantee you this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”

Not that long ago we were delighted to explore the best drone images announced by Dronestagram. This time, let’s scroll down to enjoy the masterpieces that the SkyPixel community have shared with us.
