W Hotel’s I Lawn For You lets you try glamping on Valentine’s Day.
But you won’t be roughing it out. Your dinner will be served to you at your private tent while you just soak in the stars and moonlight.
It’s at $499 a couple.
On the menu are a platter of seafood with Alaskan king crab, Boston lobster and freshly shucked oysters, Snake River tenderloin, and wild mushroom stuffed quail.
2. THE SUMMERHOUSE

While this is not exactly camping, and you won’t be exposed to the elements, but you do get the sensation of being outdoors.
The Summerhouse offers a climate-controlled, air-conditioned geodesic dome set amongst lush a garden.
The 10-course set menu ($600 per couple) will be as pretty as the outdoors, with food garnished with edible flowers and herbs picked from the surrounding edible garden. Highlights include the Japanese Scallop in the half shell with seaweed and sake jelly, and Straits Kelong Red Snapper Pie.
There will also be a bottle of bubbly and a flower bouquet.
The Valentine’s Day menu only runs on Feb 9, 10, 11 and 14 from 6pm.
There is also a 7-course set menu priced at $300 per couple inclusive of two glasses of champagne.
3. DUSK

The latest destination for romance is Dusk Restaurant & Bar. The views there are breathtaking – you get panoramic views of Harbourfront and Sentosa Island.
On Feb 14, it’s offering a 4-course set dinner at $248 per couple. Add $25 per person for wine pairing. But that may not even be necessary as the views should be all you need to elevate the mood.
EXOTIC VALENTINE’S DAY
4. THE OTTOMANI

The exotic and sexy Middle Eastern restaurant is the perfect venue for a passionate meal.
It is offering a seven-course menu at $144 a person.
It starts with a kiss (the rose-based drink Kissed By A Rose), and followed by delicacy such as Tsarskaya Oyster, Torched Foie Gras and Moroccan Bastilla.
The meal ends with a dessert named Endless Love. Perhaps this date might be the start to that.

If you want somewhere fun, noisy and casual for Valentine’s Day, take your date to Mojo.
This restaurant is a magnet for celebrities and beautiful people, so it’s great for gawking. And gentle on your wallet.
And on Feb 14, they are celebrating love with 1-for-1 Yakitori (starting from $2), and beers, wine and martinis. Also, you’ll get a 10 per cent discount off its rice bowls (from $20) and aburi maki rolls (from $18).

Just for dinner on Feb 14, Plate is serving a four-course dinner ($138 a couple) with two glasses of champagne.
You’ll get a platter of seafood (with fresh Canadian oysters, and Alaskan crab claw), soups, a main of either Grilled Wagyu Rib eye with Potato Gratin, Asparagus and Mushrooms or Fillet of Salmon Trout with Angel Hair Pasta, Ikura and Sea Grapes Salad.
