No winter wonderland is complete without an amazing hot tub soak after a long day on the slopes or trekking through town. From Tahoe to Zermatt, we’ve scoped out the best vacation rentals—each with sublime views, spacious accommodations, luxe amenities and, of course, insane hot tubs.

CHALET DEVLIN (LECH, AUSTRIA)
You and 13 of your closest friends can sleep comfortably in this five-bedroom, five-bath ski-in, ski-out mountain chalet in Austria’s exclusive Oberlech resort. It’s close to glamorous restaurants, bars and shopping, but, with an in-chalet wine cave, sauna, hammam (aka a Turkish bath, people), library, cinema room and sweeping outdoor views that guests can enjoy from a cozy outdoor hot tub, you may never want to leave.

GRAND OUTLOOK (JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING)
Set on five secluded acres of wilderness in Jackson Hole’s East Gros Ventre Butte, this stunning five-bedroom, six-bath rental boasts a 360-degree view of the majestic snow-capped Tetons. The three-level home seems to have more windows than walls, but the private outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to take it all in.

QUANTUM (VAIL, COLORADO)
Luxe, indulgent, extravagant—OK, we’ll say it: This place is nuts. Perched atop Forest Road, Quantum’s location and 20-foot windows offer some of the best views of Vail Valley. The $20,000 a night, six-bedroom, nine-bath vacation home has a state-of-the-art media room and a private spa for relaxing indoors, and a heated patio, a fire pit and an impressive (to say the least) in-ground stone hot tub outdoors.

SEVENTH HEAVEN (BRECKENRIDGE, COLORADO)
This 5,200-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath modern gem gets its name from its location in Breckenridge’s upscale Peak 7 neighborhood and from the heavenly feel of its 2.5-acre property in the White River National Forest. Soaring glass walls and countless windows blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, but the secluded hot tub—on a terrace tucked into the trees—might just be the best place to experience the beautiful Colorado scenery.

CHALET VALENTINA (ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND)
Zermatt is no stranger to luxury accommodations, but this modern chalet is in a class of its own. The five-bedroom, six-bath vacation rental mixes historic wooden architecture with contemporary design and boasts spectacular views of the iconic Matterhorn. Its glass-enclosed hot tub is set to the side of the main living room and can transform from an indoor tub to an outdoor one with the touch of a button.

THE VILLA (WHISTLER, BRITISH COLUMBIA)
This wood, rock and slate ski-in, ski-out villa looks more like a castle set on the side of Canada’s Whistler Mountain. The spacious retreat has six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a billiards room, a media room, a steam room and an indoor pool. After a long day on the slopes, relax in the outdoor hot tub with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

POWDER RIDGE, LE BELVEDERE (TIGNES, FRANCE)
We might book a week at this chalet for the stunning mountain views from the hot tub alone. Throw in the fact that a catered rental package is an option, and we’re sold. Powder Ridge—one of five rentals in Le Belvedere, a newly built luxury residence near the slopes at Tignes Les Brevieres in the Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps—has six en suite bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 12.

LE FAUCON (MÉRIBEL, FRANCE)
A warm and charming French chalet in the Alpine hamlet of Raffort, Le Faucon is a luxe option for skiers seeking an old school, small-village feel near the Méribel Valley, the center of the world’s largest lift-connected ski area. The communal and private spaces of the chalet are spread out on four levels with a grand, contemporary fireplace on the second floor. Each of the six bedrooms has an en suite bath—one with a gorgeous copper soaking tub. Guests will also love the first-level relaxation space complete with a swim spa, sauna, massage room and a six-plus-person hot tub.

PETITI (VERBIER, SWITZERLAND)
Verbier, in the French-speaking canton of Valais in southern Switzerland, is known not just for its serious skiing; the relaxed and stylish Alpine village is also a noted food and wine destination. So, it comes as no surprise that Petiti—a catered chalet with chambres and South African-inspired decor—features a fully-stocked kitchen, a spacious dining room, and a wine cave. Our favorite space in this luxe rental, however, is the in-chalet spa and the private outdoor hot tub surrounded by a rock terrace.
