These pictures show the moment a peckish crow was caught unwrapping and munching on a Mars bar.
Lorna Williamson, 56, witnessed the bizarre scene in a children’s play area where youngsters had left the treat.
She managed to follow the bird with her camera and took a series of snaps of the bird unwrapping the chocolate and then burying it for later.
Ms Williamson, a care worker from Deeside, Aberdeenshire, said: ‘I’m interested in the natural world and birds.
‘I saw the crow picking the chocolate bar out of the wrapper. It can be quite hard to open but it was having a good go at it.
‘I had my camera with me and decided to step a bit closer.
‘The bird flew on the roof of a play hut for small children.
‘It took the Mars bar to the top of the roof and was picking at it.
‘I watched it for a while. It flew off to a high branch and eventually came back down to the ground.
