Nothing hits the spot like an old fashioned bacon butty, particularly when you’re recovering from one too many wines the night before. But what if we told you that your bacon sandwich could be made even more delicious?

And that you’ve been missing out on the best breakfast EVER for all this time?

Well, according to the cooking experts, we’ve been missing a major trick that helps guarantee that every single bite of your sandwich is perfectly even – you know, so you don’t end up with unsatisfying soggy corners that are covered in ketchup but meat-free.

It’s all down to those pesky rashers, which just aren’t conveniently shaped to sit perfectly between your bread slices. So, to remedy this, The Sun have uncovered a very clever solution: make a bacon weave…

Now, hear us out, because it turns out that organising your rashers into a lattice arrangement really is worth all the extra effort. And, it’s not complicated to do either, as the video below will attest.

All you need is some foil and a baking tray to begin. Then, lay three small strips of bacon in a row, before doing the same thing with a further three rashers in the opposite direction, weaving them over and under the first lot.

The result? A very clever bacon weave that will cook perfectly into a bread-sized slab of goodness.
