A trailer for the Dancing On Ice revival aired on ITV on Sunday evening, featuring an adorable dance sequence which saw two polar bears skating to Andy Williams’ The Impossible Dream.
And it seemed that the preview has got viewers excited for the return of the ITV series, with many flocking to Twitter to express how much they loved the clip.
The trailer, which aired after The X Factor final, was praised by some fans as better than the John Lewis Christmas advert, though it failed to feature any of this year’s star-studded lineup.

In the trailer, a pair of polar bears can be seen getting to grips with the ice, eventually performing a sensational dance for their woodland animal friends, receiving a perfect score of 40 from their squirrel ‘judges’.
Viewers of the trailer headed to Twitter to applaud its Christmas spirit, with others noting how excited they are for the revival.

One fan tweeted: ‘OMG absolutely loving it! So excited for @dancingonice.’
Another wrote: ‘Now THAT’s an advert,’ while a third tweeted: ‘So excited for this!’

Some viewers also wrote that the advert even trumped the famous John Lewis Christmas Advert, which this year featured Moz the Monster.
One viewer wrote: ‘Well I got to say the Dancing on Ice ad was 10x better than the John Lewis ad!’
Another tweeted: ‘That Dancing on Ice promo was a far better advert than John Lewis and anything else this Christmas. Totally brilliant and hopefully will be shown many times over Christmas. Great promo.’
ITV are yet to announce an air date for the revival, but many fans eagerly hoped it would be early in January.
