DRY HANDS?
Our hands are one of our most susceptible body parts to dryness. They’re always coming into contact with surfaces and harsh weather, causing the delicate skin to roughen and crack. There are plenty of hand creams and lotions available at your local pharmacy. However, there are some powerful, homemade remedies that can restore your hands to their natural state.

COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil is an excellent way to heal your overworked hands. It contains the fatty acids and antioxidants that can penetrate and repair even the driest skin.
Instructions:
Before bedtime, rub a teaspoon of coconut oil all over your hands.
Leave the coconut oil overnight, and feel free to wear gloves to help it get absorbed. Wash it off the next morning with warm water.

RIPE BANANA
Overripe bananas can save your dry hands by acting as a natural moisturizer. It’s also a better way of using your overripe fruit, as opposed to throwing it away.
Instructions:
Crush the banana with a fork to make a paste, then apply directly to your hands. Leave on for 30 minutes, wearing plastic gloves if you have them available.
Optional: add olive oil to the banana paste as an added nourishing agent.

YOGURT
Apply a spoonful of plain yogurt to your hands and massage gently.
You can also add another spoonful of chickpea powder as a natural exfoliant. This will help scrub away the dead skin cells and reveal the healthy skin that lies underneath.

OATS
Oatmeal not only acts as an excellent exfoliant, it can work wonders on your hands with its high protein and lipid content.
Instructions:
Grind two teaspoons of oats to make a powder.
Mix with three teaspoons of olive oil to make a paste.
Apply to your hands and leave on for 10 minutes, before rinsing with warm water.

OLIVE OIL
Packed with antioxidants and essential fatty acids, olive oil provides the protection that your rough hands crave. Olive oil can penetrate deeply into your skin and may even help prevent aging.
Oil and Sugar Exfoliant
Combine a spoonful of olive with a spoonful of granulated sugar, rubbing the mixture into your hands.
Keep rubbing in gently all over your hands to exfoliate the dead skin away.
Deep Hydration
Heat up a spoonful olive oil and massage in your hands for 5-10 minutes twice a day.
