A little over two weeks ago, news of Selena Gomez and The Weeknd’s recent breakup became public. Gomez has since been seen spending a lot of time with her on-off-and-likely-on-again ex Justin Bieber. They’ve hugged! They recreated their 2012 date! Gomez even wore Bieber’s sweaty jersey out!
But The Weeknd himself may be following Gomez and Bieber’s example of rekindling old flames. Last night in New York City, he was photographed rushing out of his own ex, Bella Hadid’s, apartment after “spending several hours there,” per the photo agency. Interesting…
Hadid was photographed in New York City earlier that day, wearing a Canadian tuxedo (fitting!).
Hadid said of The Weeknd in February, right after he and Gomez went public, “I’ll always respect him, and I’ll always love him. Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you’ve fought so hard to build.” They’ve since unfollowed each other on Instagram, though earlier in June, Hadid briefly liked then unliked a photo of The Weeknd’s Forbes cover.
