Ever since Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted going to church and brunch together over Halloween weekend, followed by a cutesy bike ride with a head lean, fans have been on the edge of their Jelena adorned seats. Could 2017 be the year Justin and Selena are a thing again?
According to Us Weekly, the on-again-off-again couple are dating again. One insider says that while Justin was not the cause of Selena and The Weeknd’s break up, which “ended amicably” and without drama, Selena has “always had feelings for Justin.” On the other hand, E! News is reporting that nothing is official right now. “Right now, they are figuring out if it will work again between the two,” according to one source, who notes that Selena and Justin aren’t even using labels right now.
Over at TMZ, new details are surfacing about what exactly drove Justin to make contact with Selena after reportedly not speaking to each other for months. Recall: Justin was kept in the dark about Selena’s kidney surgery earlier this year because they had been out of touch. According to TMZ sources, Selena’s surgery “refocused” Justin and led him to pursue his former girlfriend while things between Selena and The Weeknd were dying down.
And for any Jelena naysayers who think they’re just making music together, TMZ says no collaboration is in the works. Believe what you will, but the site is going with “full on back together” to describe Jelena’s relationship status. Join the party, won’t you?
