This is how your favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels are getting ready for the runway — and it’s not at all what you’d expect.

The British-New Zealander Stella Maxwell, 27, joined the VS ranks in 2015. She rose quickly to global fame and even topped Maxim’s Top 100 list just last year. She exercises regularly — 1-hour workouts, 4-5 times a week. She’s also a yoga enthusiast!

With regard to her eating habits, Stella’s rule of thumb is everything in moderation. She told Byrdie doesn’t believe in extreme diets that make you cut out in certain foods completely. Her favorite go-to foods include scrambled eggs, oatmeal, dried peas, and salmon.

JOSEPHINE SKRIVER

Josephine Skriver, 24, modeled for many high fashion brands before becoming an Angel in 2016. Her exercise routine includes 1-hour workouts, 5 times a week. The Danish model sticks to weight training about 80 percent of the time, but she makes sure to fit in cardio as well. She also likes to try fun exercises such as Zumba and hiking.
Josephine’s advice for people who want to be more active: work out with a buddy and choose whatever activities work for you!

Above all else, Josephine prioritizes lifestyle over diet. Like Stella, she believes in moderate eating habits. She consumes plenty of protein, veggies, and healthy carbs. In between, she munches on nutritious snacks such as nuts and fruit.
Once again she follows the 80/20 rule: eat healthy and stick to your exercise regime 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent, Josephine indulges in the occasional splurge. She confessed to Byrdie,”I actually hate the term cheat day, so I call them treat days. Cheat feels like, Oh, I should be ashamed! You shouldn’t feel guilty about eating a burger.”

THE TAKEAWAY
If there’s anything we can learn from these bombshells, it’s that strength comes from commitment and hard work. You can’t expect to get a six-pack overnight, but you can gradually tone your body with regular exercise and healthy eating. Just make sure you have fun (and maybe a burger or two) along the way!
