The Armenian national team of young weightlifters has brought 32 medals from the 2017 World Championship held in Dures, Albania from 15 to 21 October.
The delegation has returned with 18 gold, eight silver and six bronze medals, reports the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
Arpine Dalalyan was named Champion of Europe on Saturday with a total result of 228kg. She won two gold medals in the clean and jerk exercises.
Simon Martirosyan (w/c +105kg) also won the same title with two golds. Samvel Gasparyan (105kg) and David Hovyannisyan (85kg) were named vice champions with total results of 374kg. and 343kg., respectively.
