Gaku is a Japanese artist whose work has taken over the internet due to the impressiveness of it: he makes intricate and detailed carvings out of food – mostly fruits and vegetables, using the traditional Japanese art of “mukimono”.
From popular cartoons to mandala patterns and ancient animals, all carvings Gaku makes are unbelievable and if you thought it could not get any more difficult than carving from a fruit, take into consideration the fact that these artists have to work even faster before the food oxidates.
Gaku, of course, eats all his creations afterwards!
