17 WAYS TO MAKE A BRISK FALL DAY FEEL LONGER
As the season changes from Summer to Fall, the air cools down and the days naturally get shorter. With this change comes the tendency to fall into seasonal affective disorder, which is the state of feeling blue when Winter rolls around. To combat that, we’ve come up with a variety of ways you can enjoy your Fall days and make them feel as long and happy as possible. BUILD A BONFIRE
It’s so fun to sit in your backyard or in a field with a crackling fire either by yourself or with friends. You can chat, roast marshmallows, or just enjoy each other’s company.
GO FOR A WALK
When the afternoon or early evening slump hits, head outside for a walk to jump-start your body again. It will refresh you for the evening rather than encourage you to be sleepy.
DO SOME YOGA
Yoga is a great way to both calm yourself down and boost endorphins. By practicing yoga in the early evening, you’ll reset your body for a fun evening.
CLEAN YOUR HOUSE
Cleaning isn’t always fun, but it’s something that needs to be done. Pick up a Fall cleaning checklist and tackle a new room every night for a few days.
GO PICK PUMPKINS
What says Fall more than a pumpkin patch? See if you can find one nearby and pick a couple pumpkins to bring home and either carve, cook with, or just set out to look pretty. It’ll give you a great way to stay busy and also enjoy the beautiful nature Fall has to offer.

Invite some friends over, have them all bring their favorite wine, and set up your very own wine tasting. You might just find a new favorite bottle.

Now that the weather has chilled a bit, grab a blanket and lay out under the stars. If you’re in the city and can’t see them, head out to the country for a weekend.
