Angelina Jolie has spoken for the first time of the emotional toll of her split with Brad Pitt – and says she hates being single, Mirror reports.
The Hollywood star, 42, says the break-up last year was made worse by health problems – including a double mastectomy and Bell’s Palsy on her face.
“I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”
Promoting new movie First They killed My Father – which she co-wrote, produced and directed – Angelina said she tries to laugh for the sake of the couple’s six children.
The mother-of-six added: “My health is something I have to monitor.”
But the mum-of-six says she tries to laugh and stay positive so her children don’t pick up on her stress.
