Whether you’re going through a dry spell or on a lucky streak, most people wonder how their sex life compares to other peoples’. To find out what’s “normal” in the sack, researchers quizzed couples about how frequently they get laid.According to a study by the Kinsey Institute, 18 to 29-year-olds tend to get down and dirty 112 times per year. Whereas people aged 30 to 39 have on average 86 steamy romps a year – which is seven times a month or once a week.
Those in their forties seem to get even less action, with an average of 69 times per year. That’s the equivalent of doing it five times per month or once a week.
So depending on your age, it seems like having sex once or twice each week is pretty normal.
esearchers also found out that 13% of married couples have sex a few times per year, 45% do it a few times a month, 34% romp two or three times a week and 7% of couples get jiggy four or more times every week.
