A lottery winner held a rock festival on the grounds of his country mansion to save it from being cancelled.Adrian Bayford, 46, who scooped £148million, hosted the Cambridge Rock Festival after the original venue pulled out, Mirror has reported. The dad-of-two – one of Britian’s biggest-ever lotto winners – agreed to stage the event at Horseheath Lodge, his sprawling estate near Linton, Cambs, for free.It came after the usual venue for the festival cancelled, leaving fans fearing it would not go ahead.
Adrian bagged the EuroMillions , prize in 2012, with his then wife, Gillian. After the couple split 15 months later, he moved into the grade-II listed Georgian mansion, which boasts 90 acres of land.
