A SEX robot manufacturer has revealed what their customers are looking for in their android lovers… from their hair colour and body shape right through to their personality.
We spoke to True Companion, the US-based company behind the world’s first sex robot, Roxxxy, to find out what makes their customers tick.

Roxxxy is billed as the world’s first sex robot, and can be customised in almost every way imaginable And it turns out that there are a few attributes in particular which are going down particularly well with the company’s customisable dolls, priced at $9,995.00 (£7,700). When you order a product from the company, you’re faced with a massive choice of options which determine what your AI lover will look like.These include hair styles, skin tone, make-up preferences and even the style of your sex robot’s pubic hair. But Douglas Hines, the engineer behind Roxxxy, told the Sun Online that some choices just keep cropping up when customers make their requests for a custom lover. He said: “Dark brown hair is very popular, the eye colour blue is very popular.”With the skin tone, people seem to prefer tan, which is a nice, very warm kind of skin tone.”

And horny punters are also keen on a fair bit of make-up for their artificial partner.Douglas said that alongside a thin touch of eyeliner, “bright red lipstick is very popular.”He added: “I guess if you’re going to have a companion with you, you want her to be as spicy as possible.”

In fact, the ‘bots are so bespoke that they can even be pre-programmed to recognise your interests, likes and dislikes before they arrive.

Busty and fuller-figured sex robots are the most popular among sexbot punters Customers also have the choice to choose how their AI lover acts around them as well, with an array of personality settings to flick between as you please. Among the most popular is the Mature Martha setting, which will see your ‘bot act in a “gentle, loving and caring” way. Douglas says: “She’s more matronly, where she just wants to be held and cuddled, and not so much the physical interaction. “That’s what’s very, very important to most customers.”

Sex robots are often highly customisable, and can even be modelled after real people… with their permission But as popular as Mature Martha is, the number one spot, personality wise, belongs to Wild Wendy. When she’s in this mode, Roxxxy is only after one thing. Douglas says: “Wild Wendy is a spunky, very outgoing, adventurous kind of girl. Her behaviours are very eye-opening.”Wild Wendy allows for you to experiment with different positions and interactions.”She’s willing to pretty much be open to whatever you probably have in mind.”
