Ah, family. They’re there for you through thick and thin, good and bad, bush and bare. Or at least, they are if you’re part of Ashley Graham’s family. Graham just posted a screenshot of her family group chat plunging into a discussion about their pubic hair preferences, going where we’d guess no family group text has gone before.
To follow with some context, over the last few weeks, Graham has been posting swimsuit shots to Instagram in advance of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Shockingly, the suits don’t leave a ton to the imagination, and from the closeup angles of Graham’s shots, it’s pretty clear that she’s gone hairless. And as Graham’s family pointed out in their group text, this is a twist for the famously hairy Graham.
It might be the first and last time that we write the phrase “famously hairy,” but as Graham told Glamour last year, “Honey, I have a full bush. Period. It’s about your preference and your partner’s preference.” So apparently one of those preferences has changed, or Graham’s willing to make an exception for Sports Illustrated.
But that’s not all we learned about the Graham clan today. After a little friendly bush banter, Graham’s mom chimed in with the comment, “I have no bush and it’s divine. Be jealous.” Gilmore Girls, take a seat.
