She is one of the best known faces in fashion, and was named the second highest paid model in the world last year.
And Gisele Bündchen made history on Thursday, when she became the first ever person to appear make-up free on the cover of iconic magazine Vogue Italia.
In a bid to reflect the ‘real Gisele’, the Brazilian stunner, 37, posed in just a casual jumper and slippers in her kitchen – before sharing a number of intimate snapshots of her home life with husband Tom Brady and their two kids.
Maintaining the natural feel throughout, the blonde swapped one of her usually glamorous ensembles for a loose-fitting pink jumper and playful Looney Toons slippers, in the shape of Bugs Bunny.
Leaving her hair in loose waves and resting her head in her hands on the kitchen island, the supermodel proved her famous model prowess to all as she effortlessly posed for the idyllic snap.
Photographer Jamie Hawkesworth was in charge of the history-making cover, and chose to shoot in the reportage style in order to show Gisele in her most natural and content state.
Adding to her natural appearance, he also opted to forgo artificial lighting and chose to shoot on film, in order to ‘preserve the intimacy’ of the situation before him.
Gisele posed at her home in Chestnut Hill in Boston, and Jamie went on to capture a number of intimate moments of the model with her husband Tom Brady, and their children Benjamin and Vivian.
One shot saw the model and her husband, 40, playfully lifting their kids into the air as they played on a nearby golf course and in their sunlit bedroom.
Another stunning image saw Gisele and her brood going horse riding on the beach, before they retired to their garden to plant a tree together in their family home.
Capturing the Brazilian’s favourite things in life, Jamie also photographed Gisele during an outdoor yoga session, before she slipped back into her pyjamas and playfully rolled around on the floor for the camera.
Gisele and Tom had already given insight into their family life earlier this month, when the trailer for the sportsman’s new documentary Tom Vs Time was released.
The six-part series, by filmmaker Gotham Chopra, follows him as a quarterback in later life, and featured several snippets from his life at home with Gisele and their kids.
A trailer for the Facebook Watch series saw Benjamin and Vivian running to greet their dad at the door, as well as the good-looking couple working out together.
Tom was forced to speak out and defend his family on Tuesday, when a radio host referred to his five-year-old daughter as an ‘annoying little pissant.’
The presenter had been referring to her behaviour in the trailer when he made the comment, causing Tom to abruptly end the interview by stating: ‘It was very disappointing to hear that. My daughter or any child certainly does not deserve that.’
Tom and Gisele started dating in 2006, after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.
They married in an intimate ceremony in Santa Monica, California, in 2009, before welcoming Benjamin later that year, and Vivian in 2012.
