When you picture your ideal hotel pool, you probably think about the sun loungers, the swim-up bar and the ability to snap a great shot for Instagram.
But would you ever consider that you could swim right up to, and past, the cliff edge?
The Edge Resort in Bali is a one-of-a-kind holiday destination, perched on the edge of the cliffs in Uluwatu. Made up of a series of ridiculously luxurious villas, the resort features exclusive dining opportunities, snazzy bars, spas and quite possibly, the best hotel swimming pool in the world.
When was the last time you swam in a glass-bottomed pool with a view of the 500ft cliff drop below you? While pictures of this pool do look beyond epic, the best way to get a feel for what it would really be like to swim in it is to watch this video:
Incredible, right? Thes people love the view so much they’re even having their breakfast in the pool, right after the morning swim.
Side-note, that breakfast looks really tasty.
Aside from the pool, there’s also a wine cellar on site – we’d probably split our time between the two – and each villa comes with a 24-hour butler service.
As you might have guessed, luxury like this comes at a price – a steep one at that – but what does £700 a night really matter when you get to live in actual paradise?
