If you’re a believer in all things zodiac and astrology, you may want to listen up, as astrologers are warning that this year’s Winter Solstice will be a dark day indeed.
The Winter Solstice, which occurs on December 21, is the darkest and shortest day of the year. But the 2017 Solstice will also see a rare cosmic occurrence that hasn’t happened since 1664!
For the first time in 350 years, the sun moves into Capricorn, hours after Saturn makes the same exact shift, causing the sun and Saturn to line up, according to astrologer and author, Neil Spencer, Mail Online reports.
So what does this rare occurrence mean for the superstitious among us?
Astrologers say that people should avoid making any important decisions during the Winter Solstice as the unusual phenomenon may result in bad consequences for 2018.
‘In one’s personal horoscope, Saturn in Capricorn is a very useful placement, denoting one tough individual, but on a macro-level, it doesn’t promise much in the way of fruitful change,’ Neil told Mail Online.
The day may make you feel limited and low in energy, and drastic actions should be avoided.
Perhaps most disturbing of all, a post on the Feng Shui blog by Jayashree Bose, predicts that this year’s Solstice will be full of obstacles and troubles, and any important activity should be avoided completely.
Perhaps it’s best to have a duvet day and avoid all action altogether?
