As one of the most successful fashion designers in the world right now, we wouldn’t expect Victoria Beckham to have many more new goals to tick off her list…
But it seems that even A-listers start thinking about making changes at the end of the year, as VB has shared her 2018 New Year’s resolutions.
And she admits it ‘might make people’s eyes roll’.
Speaking to Vogue, Victoria said: ‘I don’t do anything silly like “I’m never going to drink again” because that’s not going to work.
‘I know this might make people’s eyes roll, but I just want to continue to be the best person that I can and try hard to be the best mum that I can and really try to get that balance right between work and life.
‘That is a really difficult thing when you’re a working mum. I don’t know if it’s a New Year’s resolution or just a little word I have with myself.’
On top of that, the former Spice Girls star has vowed to spend less time on her mobile…
‘I think the one thing that I probably should do is have a New Year’s resolution that when it gets to six o’clock at night I’m going to turn my phone off.
‘Or I’m going to put it on silent or put it in the other room and then I’ll just pick it up again at eight o’clock the next morning because I am such a workaholic and I probably will say to myself, let’s try to do that.’
Opening up about the Beckham family’s New Year’s Eve plans, and it sounds like they love to let loose…
‘We always spend New Year’s Eve with the children, and my kids know how to party. Last year, I mean goodness they stayed up so late, they really are party animals.
‘It’s a good time to get a little bit dressed up and let your hair down, have some fun and just go for it.
‘This year, Brooklyn is coming home from New York, and I won’t talk about it too much because I’ll start crying. We haven’t seen him for quite a while. So, he’s coming home, and he is good fun. We like to have fun as a family.’
