Ever wondered why you draw in a certain type of woman?
Apparently, you can tell a lot about how attractive you are by looking at your hands.
And contrary to popular belief, it could be the length of your ring finger, and not another one of your body parts, that makes you appealing.
A scientific study, from Poland’s Jagiellonian University Medical College, revealed that your hands can say a lot how you formed in the womb.
If your fourth finger is the same length as your index, you’re likely to have had a burst of testosterone during your early development.
Research suggests that this spike of the male hormone makes you more appealing to the opposite sex.
This may be because testosterone works as an anabolic steroid, which can boost muscle and bone mass.
The hormone also plays a key role in the male reproductive system.
Surprisingly, experts believe that blokes with long fingers are better at attracting a partner with an hourglass figure.
They concluded that chaps who had long ring fingers were four times as likely to find love with busty but small-waisted women.
The study states: “Our results suggest men’s pre-natal environment has an impact on the likelihood of being in a relationship with a more attractive and presumably more fertile woman.
“Men with [longer ring fingers] were four times more often partnered with women who had both relatively narrow waists and large breasts.”
So how does your ring finger measure up?
Thankfully, there are other ways to win over the opposite sex. Previously, thousands of women revealed what really makes a man attractive.
And blokes with tattoos could be in with a better shot at finding a partner, a study reveals.
