Shakira, Shakira! Even after two pregnancies and her fortieth birthday, she’s sexier than ever before. How has she managed to stay in shape throughout the years? In an interview with E! News, Shakira’s trainer Anna Kaiser was happy to enlighten us.


EXERCISES FOR SEXY ABS
A slim and firm body like that doesn’t come without sweat. Shakira trains hard five days a week, mixing up her cardio training with sports, kickboxing, and (of course) dancing. To get her strong arms and sexy abs, she combines cardio with 45-minute strength training and toning exercises.


HIP-SHAKING AND HAPPY
Between touring, traveling, and spending time with her children, Shakira always makes sure to stick to her five-day exercise routine. She does two workouts per day for two days, and one workout per day for the other three. According to her trainer, consistence is key. Once you find a rhythm that works for you, stick to it and only then will you see results!


SHAKIRA’S DIET
Shakira is always on the move, so it’s important for her to get the right kind of fuel. She eats full meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She also allows herself a couple of snacks and the occasional treat, making sure to eat something every 2-3 hours.
Her diet includes fresh veggies, fruits low on the glycemic index, and protein with every meal. Instead of eating coffee and sweets as an afternoon snack, Shakira’s trainer recommends soup because it has less calories but is filling enough to tide you over until dinner.
