Friends has managed to stand the test of time, entertaining millennials and Gen X-ers alike and drawing in millions of views in syndication even 13 years after its final episode aired. Now, a new book is exploring just how the cultural juggernaut came to be, its impact, and its enduring appeal.
I’ll Be There for You, by Big Girl author and Refinery 29 contributor Kelsey Miller has been acquired by Harlequin Imprint Hanover Square, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The book will be released in 2019 in time for the 25th anniversary of Friends‘ debut in 1994.
Along with analysis on the show’s popularity with young people today, the book will also recount unforgettable guest stars (Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon) and explore “the Rachel,” Jennifer Aniston’s iconic haircut for many seasons.
